On this page you can see my status via ICQ's servers. If I'm online, and you have an ICQ client you can message me etc. If you don't have an ICQ client available you can "page" me via your browser. I can't reply to you straight away, but I can send you an Email reply. You can also check out more of my ICQ info by following my Info link. This is all sort of enmeshed in with (former ?) Mirabilis servers and the latest ICQ client for Win. Some of these things will probably assume that you have the client for Windows. Eg: If you page me when I'm in Licq, I would probably get an error message. Also I'd say that the functions under "If you have ICQ" would all be assuming you use the clients distributed at ICQ's commercial webpage.
If you don't have or know what ICQ is or does you can follow a link on the left for your Operating System. There is currently only 1 version of ICQ that I know of made for Windoze, only one version I know of for DOS but there are many versions for Linux. Which one you choose depends on your setup/likings. I like Licq since it's simple, up-to-date and configurable. For more ICQ clients for Linux, check out LinuxApps or Linuxberg. |
